Cosmeticium provides every part of a necessary pricing policy except for the most important one: Transparency. The clinic outright chooses not to show the details of its costs and instead asks the patients to reach out to learn about them. That means patients have no way of knowing if they are treated differently with what they have to pay. That is a minus.
On the other hand, as we have just explained, other parts of their pricing policy are positively brought up. They explain that the entire content of their all-inclusive packages is standard, and costs differ solely depending on the chosen method. So, regarding the method, prospects should get a fixed price for a single transplant session.

After seeing so many clinics that do not even include aftercare products such as medications and shampoo on their packages lately, seeing them included in Cosmeticium is a good change of tone. Patients must not feel empty-handed once the surgery ends; this is a plus.
As a side note, the clinic chooses to share the content of its packages only on its frequently asked questions (FAQs) page, which is a bad choice but only a minor negative point. On that same page, the clinic also explains that even the most premium DHI packages in Turkey shouldn’t cost more than 3000€ and that they follow this limit. If true, that is a plus.

Cosmeticium grants each patient a personal medical evaluation before the whole transplant procedure begins. That way, both your suitability is assessed and your scalp condition is improved with the right instructions, such as which medications you should and shouldn’t use.
These instructions are granted to all patients through the free one-on-one consultation they will have with the doctors of Cosmeticium if they decide to get in contact with the clinic. That is a great chance for patients to meet with their surgeon beforehand and ask their questions directly to them.
Once the consultation process ends, Cosmeticium provides a detailed hair loss and transplant report for each patient that includes the level of hair loss, necessary grafts amount, the existing donor amount, and the suited hair transplant method in correlation with all of them.
For both hair transplant methods, Cosmeticium has an entire page dedicated to them that explains each phase of the experience step-by-step, starting from pre-op to ending at post-op.
And as for the booking process itself, we can say that it is very easy to navigate. Patients can contact the clinic by filling out a contact form that asks them to leave their phone number or just reach the clinic themselves through WhatsApp. The entire process is supported by English-speaking customer service, so communication shouldn’t be a problem.

Cosmeticium does all the airport, hotel, and clinic transfers with a VIP van. The clinic’s representative picks up the patients from the airport’s main exit and gets them directly to their hotel.
All the packages of Cosmeticium are only a 5-star hotel. We cannot confirm this information as they do not provide the name on the website. However, online patient reviews mention that the hotel was indeed 5-star.
In our opinion, 3-night accommodation is essential and should’ve been included. These extra days of recovery and rest are necessary for graft health. The clinic, on the other hand, provides only a single day of recovery at the hotel after the day of the surgery. That is a minus.
Cosmeticium has its own private clinic right opposite the Medicine Hospital in Bagcilar. It has an easy-to-spot location and a wheelchair-supported entrance. The interior design seems to be filled with comfortable operation rooms with modern equipment.
The downside is that the clinic is so far from any central location. It is on the European side of Istanbul, in Bagcilar. It is 72 km from Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) and 38 km from Istanbul Airport (ISL).

Cosmeticium’s team is really well-equipped. They have several plastic surgeons and surgeons who specialize in hair transplants. Each of them has their name and their resume filled with experience presented transparently at the “Doctors” page on the website. That is a big plus.
Sadly, in such a large team of experts, there is not a single anesthesiologist available to administer local anesthesia and do sedation, which is a minus. However, they include anesthesia on their packages. So, do they hire someone else from the outside or have a technician who is not an expert in anesthesiology do the risky administration? We don’t know.
Regardless, as anesthesia is a dangerous field of medicine that without a doubt requires an expert’s touch, it is a minus that they keep the person responsible for this process hidden.
What we know is that each of the doctors on the medical team has years of experience and has worked on more than 1000 patients. So, since at least 3 or more of them are present in each patient’s surgery at any time, prospects can expect to be in safe hands.
Lastly, the expert team of medical individuals has an excellent sense of English, so there should be no trouble communicating with them at any part of their journey.

The head of the medical team, Dr. Caglar Firat Armagan, or at least any other leading doctor, is present during every part of the surgery as a supervisor, regardless of the surgery method.
However, the clinic does not promise or even mention a policy of accepting only one patient a day. So, we don’t know how exactly they ensure that a supervising doctor is included in every single surgery while having simultaneous operations in a single day, which already reduces the effectiveness of the medical team over time.
The clinic doesn’t include any bio-enhancements during the surgeries. Without these supporting substances, maximizing the survival rate of the transplanted hair follicles becomes much harder. The fact that the clinic ignores such a vital supplement to support graft survival rate is a minus.
Despite not talking about an anesthesiologist anywhere, Cosmeticium proudly presents its pain-free anesthesia despite not explaining how that is achieved. If it is truly administered properly by an expert who knows what they’re doing, and it is truly supported by a needle-free option such as using a dermojet, then this option is great for further reducing any sensation of pain.
Lastly, Cosmeticium does not mention laser-assisted hairline drawings and telogen/miniaturization checks. Hand-drawn hairlines hold a chance for overharvesting cases that turn into failures. It’s another negative point for Cosmeticium.

After the surgery day, the Cosmeticium team removes the bandages. With a leading doctor’s examination, such as Dr. Armagan, the first hair wash is done. During the whole process, the leading doctor informs the patient about proper post-care instructions, such as how proper washing should be.
To provide more information during the post-surgery process, the clinic also keeps in touch with its patients for up to 1 year after the transplant. During this time, doctors regularly reach out to patients to provide time-specific instructions and personal consultations.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any trace of a re-operation guarantee or lifetime warranty by the clinic. So, we don’t have any proof on the website that supports or shows their intention to provide revisions if patients are not happy with the results.
In addition to regular doctor consultations that are already very informative, the clinic also has a very detailed post-surgery phase instructions page on its website that explains all the supplements they can use, complications that might arise, and key points. So, there are various easily accessible online instructions. That is a plus.
As Cosmeticium does not include bio-enhancements in its hair transplant surgeries, it also does not provide post-op ATPv spray (another bio-enhancement) that increases the graft survival rate. This spray is quite common among clinics and is also helpful in hair restoration. The lack of this supplement is a minus.
Contrary to the ATPv spray, the clinic includes many aftercare medications to support the newly transplanted hair’s health recovery process and boost its growth. Also, the medical shampoo is vital for treating the scalp after the stressful surgery experience. These are positive points from the clinic.

The clinic has a very limited number of online reviews, and, acceptedly, that is a small negative point. However, compared to the clinics that have hundreds of fake reviews, we find this preferable as even with this amount, the clinic seems to have a high satisfaction rate.

However, let us remind you that the clinics always choose which results they like to share and which they do not.
Our two only complaints are that the website absolutely needs more photos with different angles to show results. Also, having the surgery technique indicated under each of them would be a great addition.

Cosmeticium’s prices, considering what they provide for the amount they ask for, are in a great balance. We believe that only by making a few changes to some transparency choices here and there and adding some additional services could they easily be among the highest-rated clinics on our list.
The most significant part that holds them back from getting a higher rating is lacking transparency and information about their prices and their team member who does sedation. They promise to grant anesthesia, so clearly, someone is responsible for it.
The fact that Dr. Armagan exists in every surgery is a big plus that we appreciate. That quality is not easy to find. However, they should also explain how the leading doctors can appear in every single simultaneous surgery they have each day without limiting their efforts to a single patient.
According to the results they chose to share on their before and after pages on the website, the patients seem to have a high survival rate. They could also have a lot better results if they simply added bio-enhancements to their surgery and post-op recovery phase.
Lastly, as an additional note, we believe that including some services such as PRP or even stem cells could be the next step in the clinic’s goals.
