Everything about a patient’s hair transplant is very well organized. And doctors seem to be supervising some part of the operations; compared to other hair clinics, it is a bit better.
However, full MD participation is only available in the premium plan, which costs $7750. Law in Turkey states that a dermatologist or plastic surgeon (or some certified doctors) should always be present during the surgery. The clinic has Op. Dr. Ömer SAĞIR (Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon), but we don’t have any info about his involvement in procedures.

No Doctor Involvement: Like other Turkish Hair Mill clinics that accept patients, technician-performed operations in this clinic are very common.
Fast surgeries: In some reviews, we see that in a total of 6 hours, the technician crew transplanted 4000+ grafts. The time is short for a mega session. Operators use forceps to handle grafts so that the speed is not safe for grafts. The patient complained after 2 years that the grafts didn’t grow.
Disappointing Experience – Beware If You’re Traveling from Abroad
I traveled all the way from the U.S. for a hair transplant with this clinic, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
From the start, I was overcharged at the front desk, which led to an uncomfortable argument. Only after insisting did the staff admit the mistake and refund the difference—right before my consultation. That alone was disheartening and made me question the professionalism of the operation.

Greetings, I’m a 47 year old male whose hairline has been receding since my late 20’s. Found an article about EsteNove from Forbes Magazine. Decided to take the plunge and go with EsteNove. I first set an availability date then deposited a $500 deposit which is good for 2 years. They provide YouTube and a video on WhatsApp to show you how to get to their limousine drivers. They pick you up in style from airport to hotel and back to your airport once you’re finished.
The whole hair transplant takes a total of 3 days. Pain level is bearable and not too excruciating, the first few shots to the head will numb it. They provide a care package of shampoo and hair foam. The aftercare team are nice and very professional and respectful and also responsive with any questions or concerns you might have. I’m on my 6th month now and my scalp is thicker and fuller. Full results take anywhere between 12-18 months.
Trust the process and take care of your scalp. You have to treat your scalp like a plant. I’m currently using Minoxidil pills, Vitamin B,C,D3 and trying to be stress free with life. Overall I’m very pleased with the results and looking forward to when it’s finally been 12-18 months after my procedure. All grafts in all hair transplant procedures should be kept cold between the extraction and implantation processes only if correct Bio-enhancement solutions (ATPv and organ transplant solutions) are used. Estenove’s website contains various pages with pre-op instructions, such as its blog, FAQs page, and each of its transplant method’s own pages. The clinic also focuses on improving the scalp condition beforehand during the patient’s first meeting with the doctor on the day of the arrival.
However, the clinic does not promise any opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with the doctor during its free consultation process. Instead, patients are given a form to fill out explaining their baldness, and after sending some scalp photos, a representative reaches out to them through Whatsapp or mail.

A 2-day stay in a 5-star hotel is included in all packages. In our opinion, 1 night extra for rest and recovery is a must for graft health as the long surgery puts heavy stress on the body. This is the only minus in their accommodation services.
Estenove treats its patients in a large hospital with high-end technologies and comfort. Its operation rooms are almost as eye-catching and top-notch as the exterior design of the large plaza building it is located in.

He’s been working in the field of plastic surgery since 2010 and has 16 years of broad experience in Turkey and the United States. Since then, he has worked on thousands of cases internationally and is currently a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
Similarly, the primary doctor of Estenove, Zafer Çetinkaya, has a background filled with over 10.000+ cases of work. The fact that the clinic openly provides such an in-depth resume of its team is a big plus.
Unfortunately, they do not provide similar transparency on how their sedation is done, as an anesthesiologist is not available on their team. But at the same time, they promise anesthesia to be included in their services, and patient reviews online approve of this.

Across many platforms online, Estenove has a very high number of positive reviews. And the bad reviews are responded to by offering revisions to make right dissatisfied patients or by asking the anonymous patient’s names to identify the source of the problem.

I am 2 years removed from my hair transplant at Estenove and it’s safe to say that most of the 4200 grafts I paid for did not grow out.
The procedure took around 6 hours, occasionally I could feel the technicians scrape too hard to where it would hurt a little bit but I brushed it off as just part of the process. They emphasized the importance of being extremely gentle with my hair and scalp post op as the new hair can become dislodged, but on the following day when I came in for my wash, the lady washing my hair was far from what I would have considered to be gentle and careful. I’ve sometimes wondered if that’s where things went wrong. If how she washed my hair was okay, then I am 8000% positive that there is nothing I may have done to sabotage my own recovery.
According to what they said and some research, each graft depending on the person can hold anywhere from 1-5 hairs. This would mean that even in the worst case scenario, where if every single one of my grafts had one single strand of hair, I should have around 4000 new hairs. Again that is in the WORST case scenario, even if 50% of the hair transplant failed I still should see around 2,000 new hairs.
Finally after showing them this they decided to “talk to the doctor” and he said that sometimes some people take longer to fully recover and to give it a few more months. We discussed our next operation. The chat has been dead since that day. No more follow-up, no interest in what happened, no more questions from them. They pretty much just abandoned this issue and did nothing to ever make it right. My best guess as to what happened genuinely is that HT was sabotaged the following day during the wash, but who knows. I can’t recommend Estenove to anyone. Do not go here. I can understand that sometimes things go wrong, but there was zero interest from them in fixing this or making it right. 2 years of time and 4,000 dollars down the drain for this.
I write this review after 5 months post-op. I had my surgery in October 2023. The transplanted hair looks good and it is still growing. The donor area doesn’t look that nice as you can see in the pictures. Before the surgery the treat to the patient was more or less good.
The day or the surgery everything looks not so clear and they don’t clearly explain all the post surgery issues, you have a translator but they do not translate all of the conversion that the medical team has in Turkish. They keep saying that my donor area is not over harvestered and it will fill up with minoxidil 5% and derma roller applications. I am only 26 yo and I only needed a small transplant, nothing big. They supposedly took 3500 folicular units. I

After doing a tremendous amount of research, I decided on Estenove in Istanbul Turkey. From the first moment of contact using WhatsApp communication, all correspondence was professional, prompt, and educational. The doctors and staff were simply amazing, I have never experienced such service, I feel the post-op directives and follow up,(extremely detail orientated)really solidified my belief in the success of this endeavor.

Estenove provides natural-looking before and after results from patients with different hairstyles and ethnicities on their website. The hairline of patients is very well designed and seems quite dense and natural.
We rarely see mid-scalp and crown zones in some patients. And the areas except for the hairline we can see are visibly less dense.
Finally, graft survival rates are high but insufficient to reach 90%. Without bio-enhancements like the post-op ATPv spray, exceeding a 90% graft survival rate is quite challenging.
