Chan G. – Jul 7, 2025
Suzanna the patient coordinator was horrible. These goofballs implanted hair everywhere except where it was necessary and where i clearly stated that i wanted it. While still at the clinic, i made a big fuss about it and told them to fix it asap, to which they said „just take finasteride“!!
Source – Trustpilot
Like i didnt just pay 15k for a transplant exactly to avoid using that horrible drug that messes with hormones… it was money wasted, and im still wearing a hat even 1 year post op. STAY AWAY. Also, its run like a cult, where everyone is sucking up to erdogan the doctor and its very strange overall.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND
Jonathan A – Jan 28, 2024
I came from NYC and spoke to a few different clinics, and all of them pale in comparison to ASMED. The treatment, the technology, cleanliness, the staff – everything was top notch.
Source – Trustpilot
We were hesitant when we heard the price and almost declined, but after we agreed and went forward, we felt it was worth every single penny.
You are assigned a staff member/coordinator to be there every step of the way and post surgery. We were assigned Arzu, and she was absolutely incredible – she was a large reason why we agreed to go to ASMED. Definitely request her when booking.
I’m still in the healing process, but so far I am thrilled with the care and prospective results.

ASMED is known for producing some of the most natural and consistent hair transplant results in the industry.

Reviews
Aman A. – May 15, 2024Dr Utkan was there for the whole 12 hours, performed the most important aspects of my procedure (opening the channels and plotting my hairline) and I could see him working very hard to make sure the procedure was done well. He supervised all aspects of the procedure too. They even took the time to print out my reference photos to make sure that my hairline matched it exactly. Plus all my grafts were bathed in a bioenhanced solution to increase the survival rate of the grafts; something that not a lot of clinics practice. I also opted in for the stem cell treatment as it was recommended by Dr Utkan; I also did my own personal research on stem cell treatment for hair transplant patients and found the results to be quite compelling.
I cannot recommend this clinic enough; they are professional, friendly, transparent and highly communicative. If you’re considering getting a hair transplant in Turkiye, do yourself a favor and go to them; oh and the lunch they served was awesome too!

I had a great experience with United Care from start to finish. I spent a lot of time researching clinics before making my decision, and one of the biggest reasons I chose them was the level of doctor involvement and their one-patient-per-day approach. That really gave me confidence that I wouldn’t just be another number.
In total I had 3,580 grafts done (2,580 in the front and 1,000 in the crown), and the entire process went very smoothly. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and took the time to answer all of my questions. They were patient, professional, and clearly experienced.
The procedure itself was handled very carefully, and the follow-up afterward has been excellent and consistent. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients and the final results.
I’m really happy with my decision to choose United Care and would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a hair transplant.

Craig L. – Feb 2026
I am writing this as a serious warning to others considering Longevita. I have been left with very poor results and outdated techniques, but the most distressing part was the healing process. I was left with infections and horrible pain that Longevita has completely failed to address.
Despite my urgent emails regarding the infections and the state of my recovery, Longevita did nothing to help. They ignored my messages and then hid behind a scripted response, stating: ‘Longevita is not a medical provider… our role is that of a medical tourism facilitator.’
They were happy to take my money in the UK, but the moment I experienced medical complications and required support, they told me to deal with Kolan International Hospital in Turkey on my own. It is clear they have no interest in patient safety or aftercare once the payment is made. Please do not risk your health with this company; their lack of accountability is dangerous.Edit

It was not mentioned in my care plan that my hair would take more than one session you are a liar. Anyone else getting a hair transplant here need to be very careful in dealing with you.
Jon D. – Jan 2026
This was my second time using Longevita for a hair transplant. They provide a really professional service and they have it down to a fine art! All the staff are really friendly and assist you with everything you need all the way through your stay. There is no second guessing anything. The aftercare is really good they assist you for up to a year. And the price is really good compared to other clinics. It really is a 10/10 from me hence why I went back there for my second. And for any brits looking they have a clinic in London which is handy to know.

Dr Cinik Reviews
A. A – November 2025
2 FAILED HAIR TRANSPLANTS!!!
1) The doctor is not involved in the procedure at all. The entire procedure is done by technicians some very young with little experience
2) Over harvesting. They took too much hair out of certain areas on the side of my scalp leaving patchy areas
3) Unnatural looking implants. In the crown area the hairs were implanted in very straight lines leaving an unnatural look and a thin look because the hairs don’t overlap. In the hairline the grafts didn’t survive because of poor implant techniques
Went to Turkey to do a crown and hairline transplant. After poor results from the first surgery they offered to do a repair. It’s been 1.5 years later and I still have a bald area on my crown and thin hairline
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LIMITED DONOR HAIR. Go to a clinic where a doctor with proven results does the surgery. Don’t trust instagram photos
Andrii N – January 2026
Everything was very professional, from the very first conversation with the consultant to the postoperative support.
Dr. Cinik personally saw me the day before the operation and again on the day of the procedure. I really liked the doctors and the team who performed the transplant — their professionalism was clearly evident, and I believe they made the procedure as comfortable as possible.
After the operation, I stayed in Istanbul for one extra day, as I needed to return to Ukraine by plane first and then drive about 1,000 km by car. That decision was absolutely the right one; in fact, I would recommend everyone to spend an additional day resting at the hotel.
It has now been two weeks since the transplant, and I am satisfied with the current results.
I am very grateful to Dr. Cinik and his entire team.
Pros
- A new VIP package in which the reputable Dr. Emrah Cinik leads the surgery.
- Utilization of advanced hair transplant techniques, including FUE and DHI.
- A comprehensive range of services catering to various hair loss issues.
Cons
- The clinic’s popularity may lead to high demand and potentially longer waiting times for appointments.
- Some patients might prefer a clinic with a more boutique, less busy feel.
- Several reviews suggest Dr. Cinik is not usually involved with procedures.
#5 Dr. Serkan Aygin Hair Transplant Clinic
Also located in Sisli, Istanbul, the Dr. Serkan Aygin Clinic is renowned in the field of hair transplantation.
Dr. Serkan Aygin, a pioneer in hair transplant surgery, has been practicing since the 1990s and has accumulated a wealth of experience with multiple awards to complement it. The clinic is recognized for its commitment to quality and patient satisfaction.
The clinic primarily uses the Sapphire FUE technique for hair transplantation, which is known for its precision and minimal scarring. Additionally, they also offer DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) procedures.
Prices
Current pricing for Dr. Serkan Aygin in 2025–2026 seems to fall into two very different tiers:
- Standard all-inclusive packages: typically around €2,700–€4,500 ($3K–$5K USD) for ~3,000–5,000 grafts.
- Premium / “advanced” packages: can jump to $7K–$12K+ USD, especially when they include:
- Direct doctor involvement,
- VIP/private consultation,
- Custom hairline design by Dr. Aygin himself,
- Regenerative add-ons like PRP, mesotherapy, stem-cell/exosome therapy,
- Higher-end hotel and aftercare packages.
About the PRP vs exosome upsell specifically:
PRP is relatively common and evidence-supported for healing/support.
However, exosome therapy is newer and much more controversial/experimental. Even dermatologists disagree on how much additional benefit it provides after transplant.
In many clinics, exosomes are also a major upsell for profit margin.

TJ – Jan 17, 2026
Dr. Aygin and his large team excel at one thing: manipulating customers. They are masters of deception, control, and marketing but their surgical skills fall far short of the hype. Here is an honest account of my hair transplant experience with them.
My communication with Dr. Aygin’s team began about six months before my transplant. Over many interactions, I sensed a superiority from both the staff and Dr. Aygin that bordered on arrogance. Initially, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping their confidence reflected a world class standard. It did not. Their communication revealed a consistent pattern of disrespect and indifference, treating patients more like lab subjects than human beings, as if we should feel lucky to be there.
Ricky A. – May 2026
Had a great experience at Dr Serkan’s clinic. For some context –
I went in for a hair transplant as a male in my 40s. I previously had a hair transplant at a clinic in Harley Street and was at first wary of going to Turkey due to the thought of the journey home, post surgery. I am glad I went. The clinic is far more advanced than the one I visited in the UK. It was a more professional experience all the way from how it looked, how sterile it was and the staff interaction.
I also got exosome and PRP treatment.
It is too early to comment on results, but the aftercare has also been very good. I got clear instructions and a follow up – something I never got in London.
Pros
- Experienced clinic led by Serkan Aygin.
- Uses modern methods like Sapphire FUE and DHI.
- Many patients are happy with the density and natural-looking results.
- Good organization for international patients, including hotel and transport.
Cons
- Very busy clinic, so the experience can feel less personal.
- Technicians may handle most of the procedure in standard packages.
- Premium packages are much more expensive.
- Some online reviews mention inconsistent results and communication.
11 Items Should You Check Before Choosing a Hair Transplant Clinic:
- Check doctor’s background and experience in hair transplant field.
- ISHRS membership or dermatologist background can be a good plus.
- Ask who is doing the operation. In some clinics, technicians make most of procedure.
- Look at real patient reviews on Reddit, forums, YouTube and Google reviews.
- Check before-after photos carefully. Good lighting and different angles are important.
- Ask how many patients clinic accepts in one day. Too many patients can affect quality.
- Good clinics usually make custom plan for patient instead of same package for everybody.
- Donor area management is very important for long-term natural result.
- Be careful with clinics pushing very low prices or huge graft numbers immediately.
- Communication is also important. Good clinics answer questions clearly and transparently.
- Cheapest option is not always best option. Bad transplant can need expensive repair later.
The five clinics we’ve listed in this listicle are at the top of our reviewed clinics list, and all of them have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Choosing one among them mostly depends on your preferences and needs as a patient.
Since every clinic on this list offers no commitment and free consultations, we encourage hair transplant patients to contact each of them and form their opinions about the clinics’ expertise and communication.
